1st ICHQP workshop 2025
From Planning to Operation:
Efficient Assessment of Harmonic Emission from Distorting Installations
King’s College London, UK
June 11-12, 2025
About
Motivation
Modern distribution and transmission networks face challenges such as the rise of power electronics, including inverter-based resources, and the impact of increased cabling on harmonic impedance and resonances. Accurate harmonic studies are essential for managing harmonic disturbances and ensuring system stability and reliability across all voltage levels.
Idea
An industry-academia workshop to provide a platform for experts in harmonic analysis - ranging from network operators, manufacturers, consultants and research institutions to standardization bodies - to share insights from recent projects and explore future challenges and solutions in this evolving field.
Connection to the conference
The ICHQP workshop complements the International Conference on Harmonics and Quality of Power (ICHQP). It is held in the years between conferences focusing on a contemporary topic in the field of Power Quality and harmonics. This 1st workshop is jointly organized by King's College London and TUD Dresden University of Technology.

Providing a platform for expert exchange, discussions, and networking.
Keynote Presentations
Hear from recognized experts in the field.
No Parallel Tracks
Focus on a single session without missing out.
No Papers Required
Participate with a presentation or poster only.
Plenty of Discussion Time
Ample opportunities for discussions and networking.
Affordable Registration Fees
Lower fees compared to traditional conferences.
